StewMac Super Glue

About This Item

Speed your work by hours! Our super glues are first choice in guitar shops, thanks to fast, incredible bonding strength for repair work and instrument making.

10 Thin penetrates close-fitting wood joints and fingerboard cracks. Water-thin, it's great for fast minor drop-fill repairs on guitar finishes, too. Cures in 3-5 seconds, for a strong moisture-resistant joint.

20 Medium is our general-purpose super glue. A bit thicker, best for small imperfect joint gaps. Cures in 10-25 seconds.

30 Thick has epoxy-like gap-filling consistency. Cures in 30-50 seconds to allow joint repositioning.

Be ready for any repair situation that demands a fast permanent bond. Spend less time setting up clamps and waiting for other glues to dry!

Bonus! Each bottle includes 3 free Whip Tip nozzle extenders for precision gluing, and 1 clog-free stopper which has a tiny pin to prevent clogs.

Each 1-ounce bottle is the practical size to minimize shelf life problems. To maximize shelf life, store super glues in a cool dry place.

Warning! Super glues bond skin and eyes instantly. Use in a well ventilated area. Keep out of the reach of children.

#10 Thin CA Glue: Works great!

By

I used this to glue down two loose fret ends. Flows beautifully under fret edge and into slot underneath. I undid my clamp after 5 minutes and the fret didn't budge (though I reclamped for a total of 15 minutes just to make sure).

great glue! thanks for including the applicators.
I rebuild and resore alot of old instruments. the thin glue penetrates areas I previously had no way to reinforce or resecure.

The best.

This is the best super glue I have ever used. The super thin qualities allow it to almost instantly penetrate into tight areas and is perfect for regluing loose braces or almost any wood project that requires the pieces to be clamped in position before gluing.

Indespensable, in more ways than one!

I use this product all the time, and not just for guitars. The different thicknesses increase their utility to a huge degree, and they always get the job done exactly how I hoped they would. My one criticism isn't of the product itself, but of the packaging design. The lids don't stop the glue from drying, so before using them I always need to re-pierce the tip. If the packaging was upgraded to avoid this, it would be absolutely perfect.

Awesome glue.

I originally used this glue to repair a guitar I bought for my wife. I had quite a bit left over and my work boots soles were separating from my the shoe. So in a pinch I used the stew mac glue and 6 months later the boots are still holding. Awesome stuff, added 6 + months to life of my work boots and I am a welder!

StewMac Super Glue

I find I use the #10 for most things that I use super glue for. Next frequently used is the gel. These are now 'traditional' supplies in my shop.

Very good super glue

It flows well and with the whip tips, you can really get it where you want it. The only reason I gave it four stars is because I was hoping it would be just a little bit thinner so it would flow into tiny recesses a little better. But it's still thinner than regular super glue and does what I need it to. I'm glad I bought it and will again when I use up what I bought.

The Glue of Choice.

I wanted a glue I could depend on for multi tasks. With the three thickness options this is the best glue for me. Others come in only thick and many times I just can’t use it. But these are great. Wicking under new frets the 10 is the best.
